PAL development update
A clearer, long-term training system
MTT and Cash training now builds persistent internal progress, making every completed session meaningful without rushing players to elite skill levels.
Progress before the visible +1
A player's public MTT and Cash skills remain whole numbers from 0 to 100. Behind each one, PAL stores progress toward the next point. Every 10,000 progress becomes +1 visible skill, and unused progress carries over.
This means an effective session may save progress without immediately changing the visible skill. The player dossier and training result show that movement clearly.
- MTT and Cash progress are tracked separately.
- A visible increase is never guaranteed by a single session.
- At skill 100, no additional progress is generated.
Higher skill means slower development
Development intentionally slows across higher skill bands. Early-career players improve steadily, while elite players require sustained investment and top-end growth becomes rare. There is no artificial weekly skill cap.
- Coach and Coaching Center bonuses improve the earned progress.
- Bonuses support development without multiplying its speed.
- The conditions are snapshotted when training starts, so later staff or building changes do not alter that result.
Plan for the long term
PAL is a manager game: training must be balanced with fatigue, form, confidence, competition and academy investment. The strongest academy is built through consistent decisions rather than instant maxing.
